Bluemercury Anniversary Event 2023: Save 20% Off Luxe Beauty | Allure

We love luxury beauty as much as the next person, but what we don't love is their price tags. Well, we have some good news for you. The Bluemercury Anniversary Event is happening right now, and you'll be able to stock up or gift out some luxury favorites — seriously, we're talkin' La Mer and Augustinus Bader here, people. But there are a few things you need to know before you start adding to cart.

From September 14 through September 21, nearly everything under Bluemercury's roster will be part of this spectacular sale in honor of the retailer's 24th birthday. During this savings event, Bluemercury BlueRewards Loyalists (you can sign up for free here) get access to 20% off any order worth $200 or more with the code HAPPY20. Each purchase will also receive a free 10-piece swag bag filled with surprise goodies from the retailer's best-selling luxury beauty brands.

There are a few fine print items you should know as well. Brands not included in the Bluemercury Anniversary Event include Vintners Daughter, Aesop, Baobab, and Bluemercury-exclusive sets. Though the Dyson Airstrait won't be on sale, you'll still be able to cop the rest of Dyson's hair-enhancing lineup, but shoppers are limited to three picks from the brand per order. SkinCeuticals' lineup is also joining the savings event, but the brand also has a three-item limit, so choose wisely (we recommend grabbing the C E Ferulic serum, an Allure Best of Beauty Award winner).

If perusing through hundreds of products isn't your thing, we've got you covered. Take a look at some of the best deals you can shop during Bluemercury's Anniversary Event, below:

Editor's Note: The below prices reflect each product at 20% off. To qualify for these discounts, you must spend at least $200 at bluemercury.com.

SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic needs no introduction. This three-time Best of Beauty winner contains the golden trifecta that is vitamin C, vitamin E, and ferulic acid. Together, these powerhouse ingredients create a stable concoction of antioxidant goodness that will minimize dark spots, boost healing, and plump skin.

Those in need of a light, refreshing dose of moisture replenishment will love Augustinus Bader's The Cream. This featherweight face cream leaves skin feeling softer and smoother with a cocktail of ingredients: aloe vera, amino acids, and vitamins A, B, C, and E are just a few of them.

Non-stripping gel cleansers don't come around very often, but Osea's Ocean Cleanser fits the bill. Sure, it contains exfoliating alpha hydroxy acids in the form of lactic acid, but feel free to approach without caution, sensitive skin types, because it also contains hydrating glycerin to replenish soothing moisture as AHAs gently unclog pores of excess oil, sebum, and stubborn makeup.

You may have heard about all the skin-enhancing wonders of LED light therapy, but not all LED-powered face masks provide the same benefits. The Light Salon's Boost LED Mask features red LED lights that reduce inflammation, redness, and the look of fine lines.

On the hunt for a new cleanser? Look no further than iS Clinical's Cleansing Complex, which removes dirt, makeup, and excess oil with ease, sans tightness or irritation afterward. How? Through a combination of exfoliating glycolic and salicylic acids paired with calming cica and chamomile extracts.

Hydration is key when it comes to manifesting your plumpest complexion, and Dr. Barbara Sturm's Hyaluronic Serum is here to intensely replenish your skin's water supply. As its name suggests, the key to this formula is hyaluronic acid, an ingredient known for its water-retaining abilities and hydrating properties.

Yes, La Mer's Crème de La Mer is part of the sale, and it's iconic for a reason. This luxury moisturizer is known for its cold-cream texture and soothing formula that's infused with antioxidant-rich ingredients like sea kelp and lime tea to moisturize and fight free radical damage.

When it comes to sunscreen, few come close to Supergoop's Best of Beauty-winning Glowscreen. The broad-spectrum SPF 40 formula guards your skin against harsh UV rays while a pearlescent finish gives your skin the dewiest, brightest glow ever. Its formula also contains a slew of skin-loving ingredients, including hydrating hyaluronic acid, plumping vitamin B5, and tone-evening niacinamide.

The most popular member of the Dyson hair-care family is none other than the Airwrap. Thousands (if not millions) of people swear by this multipurpose styler, which creates perfectly bouncy waves without extreme heat damage. You really have to see the results for yourself, but seriously, you can't put a price on saved time and frustration.

Our reviewers agree that the Best of Beauty-winning Supersonic Hair Dryer cut down their drying time by at least half — oh, and it's also puzzlingly lightweight and quiet, despite its extremely powerful motor. What else? This classic tool is designed with three speed settings, four heat settings, a cold shot button, and three magnetic attachments — a smoothing nozzle, styling concentrator, and diffuser — for ultimate customization and soft-to-the-touch results.

If you haven't heard, scalp care is in. Act+Acre Cold Processed Stem Cell Serum is a leave-in treatment that deeply nourishes the scalp with collagen-producing aloe vera, invigorating apple stem cells, and free-radical-fighting bamboo and pea extracts. Don't you already feel more refreshed?

Shiny, glossy hair is one application of Moroccanoil's Treatment away. The frizz-reducing formula's main ingredient is argan oil, which has moisturizing properties for a sleeker texture and softer feel.

We love a multitasking hair-care product, and the Allure Best of Beauty-winning Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil won our editors over for its lightweight formulation that checks off multiple boxes. On top of its frizz-reducing and heat-protectant properties (it keeps your strands guarded up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, by the way), our tester notes that this pre-styling spray has a delightful scent that could rival our favorite perfumes. "It smells high-end and exotic, like a cross between coconuts and gardenias, and comes in a pump bottle that dispenses one pea-size drop at a time," she says.

Create a high-shine, glossy hairstyle with Virtue's Healing Oil. This pre- and post-styler is spiked with kalahari melon seed oil for its conditioning properties and the brand's proprietary ingredient, Alpha Keratin 60ku, which reinforces strands to make them feel softer and silkier. The results: hair that's buttery-smooth to the touch.

Olaplex is most known for its bond-repairing No. 3 Hair Perfector but don't sleep on the No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment. This is basically the pre-shower primer to the No. 3 and works to amplify the effects of the star product. It contains the same ingredient as every other product under the Olaplex line, bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate, to repair disulfide bonds in the hair for a stronger feel and glossier look.

Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray is so good at its job that our readers gave it an Allure Readers' Choice Award in 2022. This texture spray creates and maintains body to keep flat hair at bay while tapioca starch absorbs oil for a grease-free finish.

While it's an investment, Tom Ford's Traceless Soft Matte Foundation is beloved by makeup artists — and so will be by you, as well. Suitable for all skin types (especially mature skin), this blurring base gives skin an instant pick-me-up without looking cakey or dry and smooths texture over time— thanks to the help of hyaluronic acid, vitamins A and C, and caffeine. It's the best of both makeup and skin-care worlds.

While some setting powders bite the dust, Laura Mercier's Translucent Loose Setting Powder is here to stay. This silky setting powder mattifies your look while locking makeup in place for hours on end. Flashback and a white cast won't be issues for this three-shade range: Translucent (seen above), warm Honey, and Medium Deep for darker skin tones.

Minimalist makeup lovers, allow us to introduce you to the Ogee Sculpted Face Stick. This chubby makeup stick glides and melts like butter for a second-skin-like finish. It's available in 10 varying shades that can be used as highlighter, contour, blush, you name it.

The beauty of Chantecaille's Future Skin Foundation is its gel consistency, which makes it feel light and cooling on skin and look like, well, your actual complexion. No cake face to be seen with this pick, which comes in 16 flexible shades for sheer-to-medium coverage.

Swipe on Hourglass's Caution Extreme Lash Mascara for lash lift-inspired results in mere seconds. Its jet-black hue defines and thickens the look of every lash on your lids without flaking or smearing throughout the day.

Name a more iconic duo than the perfectly paired eye shadow shades in the Nars Duo Eye Shadow compacts — we bet you can't. Currently, these buttery pigment duos come in 11 colorways to mix and match, but we're especially enamored with the lavender and champagne pink pairings in Thessalonique, seen above.

The Allure Best of Beauty-winning Ellis Brooklyn Salt Eau de Parfum is anything but bitter, thanks to hints of ylang-ylang, Tahitian gardenia, and ambergris. Like Jo Malone's scent, this perfume evokes the spirit of summertime with its mix of warm, hazy notes with just a touch of beachy salt.

Vilhelm Parfumerie Dear Polly Eau de Parfum is the aromatic equivalent of a warm cup of tea on a brisk evening. Its top notes burst with a juicy blend of bergamot and apple, but once it dries down the fragrance shifts with middle and base notes of black tea, oakmoss, musk, and amber.

Fruity-floral fans need to add Tocca's Giulietta Eau de Parfum to their collections, stat. This light, airy scent infuses notes of juicy green apple with pink tulips and sweet vanilla. It smells like the perfect summer day, which, if you live in the Northern hemisphere, is disappearing rather quickly as we prep for fall.

No, the Diptyque Mimosa Candle doesn't smell like the beloved brunch drink, but instead like the French flower that bears the same name. This candle features the mimosa flower, which has a sweet honey and floral scent profile, as its star scent.

Fans of woody scents, meet Hermetica Paris's Verticaloud Eau de Parfum. The emerald green bottle is already stunning as-is, but it's what's on the inside that counts — which is a blend of rose oil, saffron, and agarwood that smells just as enticing as it sounds.

Of course, you're going to want to pick up a bottle of Tom Ford's award-winning fragrances before you check out. May we recommend the Soleil Blanc Eau de Parfum Spray? Expect to be greeted by a balanced fusion of warm, sweet, and spicy notes — like bergamot, pistachio, and tropical fruit coco de mer — with each and every spritz.

These are just a few of the can't-miss items you can grab during the Bluemercury Anniversary Event running from September 14 through September 21. You can shop the sale in-store and online on bluemercury.com, but act quickly before your favorites are gone.
