BluePrint Automation (BPA) has introduced the Spider 300v case-loading system, which combines two delta-style pattern-building robots with a 6-axis case loader. This system allows for both vertical and horizontal case packing on the same line at the same time. It also provides flexibility in packaging formats by allowing for random product arrival at high speeds. The Spider 300v is designed to handle various secondary containers and has a compact footprint.

EndFlex is using a delta robot in its PKR Delta pick-and-place cell for top-load case and tray packing. This modular cell is suitable for packaging products such as personal care items, vitamin gummies, vegetables, and snack foods. EndFlex has also introduced the PKR Gantry robot, which can pack rigid cans, bottles, jars, and cartons.

Another innovative packaging robot is the Proco Collaborative Robot Packer, which incorporates cobot technology. This modular system is designed to address workforce shortages in the packaging industry and can perform tasks such as testing containers and packing them into cases.

R.A Jones has introduced the Intelligent Flexible Transfer System (iFTS), a robotic case/carton-packing system. The iFTS is designed to load flexible pouches into cases or trays and uses robots from Autonox Robotics. It boasts a clean and open control architecture, reduced enclosures, and simplified wiring.

Schubert has developed the TLM Comfort Feeder, which automates the infeed of carton blanks to its snack bar packer. This system eliminates the need for machine operators to manually feed the carton blanks, increasing efficiency and reducing interruptions.
