The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced the planned installation of a new stoplight to help slow traffic near a Clermont County school. Magnetic Relay
The new stoplight will be located at Eagles Way and Ohio 131 in Milford, near Milford Middle School.
The goal of the project is to improve traffic flow for people leaving the campus and slow down drivers on the road.
"When the Superintendent of Milford Schools brought this traffic issue at S.R 131 to my attention, I realized the need for the traffic light," said State Rep. Jean Schmidt, R-Loveland. "The safety of our children will always be priority. This light is a necessary step in helping our students exit the school campus safely. I am grateful ODOT listened to the community."
At this time, it is not known when officials will finish the process of installing the stoplight.
