In an interview with hoyDía, dermatologist Martha Viera warned about the risks posed by the prolonged application of this over-the-counter medication and explained what its correct prescription is.

“It has been used to treat certain skin conditions such as itching, redness, and some types of infections such as chickenpox.It is generally used on all parts of the body and not necessarily on the face,” he said.“It is not a makeup primer, so it should not be used for a long time.”
