The company known for its percussive massage tools has debuted its first LED face mask that is clinically proven to treat fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, dull skin and other concerns.

Since debuting in September, Therabody’s TheraFace Mask sold out quickly online — and although it’s still out of stock on the tech wellness company’s website, you can find the high-tech tool (which has already earned starry fans) in stock at select retailers for the holiday season.
The $599 Therabody LED face mask is available at Bloomingdale’s and Best Buy. (It is currently sold out at Therabody.com and other stockists, including Goop.)

The FDA-cleared LED light therapy skin-care device contains 648 medical-grade red, infrared and blue LED lights plus vibration therapy. The result? Smoother, brighter and firmer skin in as quickly as eight weeks, according to the brand’s clinical study.
Following a 12-week study conducted by third-party company Media Lab Science in Los Angeles, participants between the ages of 39 to 64 who used the device’s nine-minute preset treatment six days per week said they noticed smoother texture, reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, firmer skin, lightened dark spots and more brightness in the skin, per Therabody. After two months, 96 percent of users said their skin looked and felt smoother and healthier, and 83 percent noted that their skin felt more “rejuvenated and luminous.”

The TheraFace Mask’s red light targets fine lines and wrinkles, while the red and infrared light addresses skin brightness and helps to reduce the appearance of dark spots. The blue light fights acne-causing bacteria, and the 17 QX-Micro Motors massage pressure points on the face and scalp to help users keep calm and relaxed. The mask also boasts a hands-free design with removable protective eye shields, making it easier to multi-task during your skin-care routine.
Therabody investor Karlie Kloss, Kim Kardashian and Jordana Brewster are among the stars who ‘ve shared their experience with the device on Instagram.
The new LED mask is the newest product in Therabody’s TheraFace line. The company last year launched its first multi-use facial device, the TheraFace ($299 and up), which has percussive, LED, microcurrent, cleansing and hot and cold attachments ($29-$149).
LED face masks have become among the go-to at-home and pre-event beauty treatments among stars and Hollywood glam squad pros. January Jones, Victoria Beckham, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson and Katy Perry are among those who’ve treated their skin with the red light devices, and makeup artists Dimitris Giannetos (makeup artist to Amal Clooney) and Jorge Monroy (Halle Berry is a client) have used CurrentBody’s LED masks to prep their starry clientele for the red carpet. Lily Collins is even seen using one in character in season three of Netflix’s Emily in Paris.
