Xiaomi has released the Redmi Watch 4 globally as part of today's Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Buds 5 series launch event. Since the company has been selling the Redmi Watch 4 in China since the end of November 2023, its technical specifications should be no surprise. However, it seems that the global Redmi Watch 4 lacks the NFC module for contactless payments that its Chinese counterpart integrates. For some reason, Xiaomi's global product page does not mention HyperOS either, the OS that underpins the Redmi Watch 4 in China. While the Redmi Watch 4 only comes in Obsidian Black and Silver Grey finishes, Xiaomi also offers Dark Cyan, Mint Green and Pastel Purple watch straps.
