Fives has designed and supplied a cold rolling mill to enable the rolling of ultrathin steel strips for electrical equipment. The DMS 20Hi EcoMill rolls strip down to 0.1 mm on the full width of 1,250 mm. The mill can produce 110,231 tons per year of NGO grades.
The latest developments on the mill include increased rolling speed and strip tension, advanced roll gap and strip lubrication, special attention to fume extraction, better strip wiping efficiency, and flatness actuators. Steel Cold Rolling Mill
