“I am personally proud that we have been dedicated to U.S. manufacturing from day one, and that commitment has continued for our 65-year history. In addition to domestic manufacturing, our OMCO Connect campaign is designed to promote solar – the most economical source of new energy production – and stable employment. Today, thanks to the IRA, domestically-sourced material is in high demand and OMCO Solar is well-positioned to capitalize on that while accelerating clean energy adoption,” said Gary Schuster, President and CEO of OMCO.

To date, OMCO Solar has invested $60 million in equipment and tooling to expand their manufacturing capacities.

“We have made substantial investments in our manufacturing capabilities, enabling us to produce a variety of solar trackers that can meet any requirement. We’re the only solar fixed-tilt and tracker company that manufactures our own products in the U.S. with US Steel. All of the other major tracker manufacturers currently import torque tubes from foreign countries,” concluded Eric Goodwin, director of business development for OMCO Solar.

The OMCO Pierceton team manufactured all of the structural components for the on-site solar power plant and installed it. Inovateus Solar provided engineering and procurement services.
