But now, at the METS Trade 2022, eWincher is presenting its electric winch!
To be exact, it is not an electric winch, but rather a motorization to electrify a winch. eWinchControl fits on the major winch brands (Harken, Lewmar, Antalâeuros¦). It is a horizontal motor of 1200 W in 30 V with a very good performance. This solution allows to be 35 to 70 times faster than commercial electric winches. The motor is powered by its own 30 V battery with integrated charger. Thus the wiring between the motor and the battery, 4 m of cable delivered as standard, does not require a large section. This is a safety feature not offered by the usual electric winches, which always require skill and experience to avoid breaking something. It is possible to create as many programs as desired to manage the different maneuvers.
