Florence Pugh's Latest Look Proves a Crop Top and Trousers Will Always Be a Winning Combo | Glamour

Leave it to Florence Pugh to keep the crop top trend alive. The Don't Worry Darling actor stole the show at the premiere of A Good Person on March 8 in a structured black crop top with a ruffled neckline, which she paired with high-waist houndstooth trousers. The cameras caught each angle of Pugh's look, but it was her opera gloves, which featured long sashes at the elbows, that had everyone mesmerized. Made of fabric that rippled like waves, the gloves moved with every gesture of her hands and followed her like a train.

On the red carpet, Pugh posed with ex-boyfriend Zach Braff, who wrote and directed A Good Person. The pair dated for three years before splitting up in 2022, though their breakup seemed amicable.

When writing the movie, Braff imagined only Pugh as the lead protagonist alongside Morgan Freeman. The role was literally written for her, and according to Braff, she delivered. “I quite simply think she’s one of the greatest actors of her generation. She’s just magnetic,” he said. “You cannot take your eyes off of her. And it’s not just her beauty and it’s not just her acting ability; it’s that thing, that magic thing that transcends the screen, where anyone and everyone goes: I want to see whatever this person does.”

While the couple may have parted ways romantically, they both smiled for the camera at each other's side for the premiere of A Good Person. Earlier in the day Braff even posted a cute picture on his Instagram story of Pugh posing with her arms out.

A Good Person hits theaters on March 24.
